Ayman Jaouni is a Workforce Consultant for WorkingNB with the Government of New Brunswick, providing supports to businesses in the province. With a strong business background and experience as an entrepreneur, Ayman has helped several start-up businesses successfully launch. Ayman moved to New Brunswick in 2011 from Ontario, and is a champion and advocate for cultural diversity and choosing Saint John as a place to live and work. Born and raised in Qatar and having travelled to over 15 countries, his first-hand experience and his countless conversations with individuals and specifically New Brunswickers has given him a unique understanding of challenges of growing our population.
Ayman has been involved in many different projects and initiatives related to cultural diversity, through his work as a Workforce Consultant, as well as during his personal time. He is involved with many different communities such as the Chinese community, the Syrian Community and others. Ayman has gone out of his way and volunteered time to assist newcomers and foreign workers to find employment and being an advocate for them with employers. Many individuals rely on Ayman to provide them with proper guidance and support as they know he will go out of his way to help and will do anything he can to make sure they get what they need. Ayman has attended interviews with many Arab nationals who were looking for employment, to act as a translator to assure that companies understood what the individuals were trying to get across and to assure they are given a fair opportunity.
