Champions for Cultural Diversity 2021
Since 2016, the New Brunswick Multicultural Council (NBMC) has been celebrating individuals and organizations across the province that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to enriching our communities with actions and efforts focused on embracing cultural diversity and inclusion. To date, NBMC’s annual Champions for Cultural Diversity Awards have presented 46 commendations to employers, immigrant entrepreneurs, community leaders, international students, and inspiring youth leaders.
This year, after receiving a record number of over a hundred nominations, NBMC is excited to announce and honour eight new recipients to our growing list of Champions! The 2021 recipients are inspiring role models dedicated to supporting New Brunswick as it continues to evolve into an outstanding example of immigration and cultural inclusion as forces for growth, progress, and innovation.
The 2021 Champions were selected by NBMC’s Champions of Cultural Diversity Awards Selection Committee. This committee is composed of representatives from NBMC’s member agencies and revolves on an annual basis. NBMC thanks the Committee for its work, and recognizes all those who took the time to submit nominations.
