Cultural Diversity Champions Awards 2023

FREDERICTON – The New Brunswick Multicultural Council (NBMC) is proud to announce the 2023 PCDC recipients. The awards, established in 2016, recognize outstanding leaders in cultural diversity and highlight their invaluable contributions to promoting an inclusive and welcoming province.

The PCDCs are a cornerstone of the NBMC’s commitment to promoting immigration as a vital part of New Brunswick’s future. By recognizing and rewarding the efforts and successes of individuals, organizations and businesses in embracing and celebrating multiculturalism, these awards inspire inclusivity across the province.

In the words of Maura McKinon, Executive Director of the New Brunswick Multicultural Council:

“The Champions of Cultural Diversity Awards embody the spirit of unity and inclusiveness that defines New Brunswick. It is a privilege to recognize the remarkable individuals and organizations dedicated to making our province a more diverse and welcoming place.”

This year, the PCDC welcomed four new categories. Each of them honoured both English and French champions. Many of you participated, with over 50 nominations from across New Brunswick.

The CMNB would like to extend its warmest congratulations to this year's award recipients and nominees, as well as to the employees, organizations and individuals who tirelessly contribute to creating a more diverse and inclusive province.
