We Stand in Solidarity with Ukrainians and all other people fleeing conflicts in their homelands.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has resulted in over three million Ukrainians fleeing their war-torn country in search of safety.
At the New Brunswick Multicultural Council, we believe that in times of conflict, empathy, kindness, respect, and support are what’s needed. NBMC is working with our government and community partners on a coordinated effort to support Ukrainian nationals as they arrive in New Brunswick.
On average, NBMC member agencies have helped more than 500 refugees from all over the world find safety, dignity, wellness and a sense of belonging in their new communities. Settlement agencies, Refugee Resettlement Sites and ethno cultural associations, bring decades of experience in cultivating community partnerships and offering the supports that newcomer families need to make this happen.

- Check with your local settlement agency to see if they are accepting donations and whether they prefer financial donations or gently used clothes, household items, or furniture.
